MENTIS STUDIO, NEW YORK
Anastasios Mentis was born and raised in Greece where, in 1990
he graduated from "The Technological Educational Institute of
Athens", with a Bachelor of qualified Topographer Engineer. His
creative drive and spirit for adventure, brought him to Germany
in 1993, where he studied photography at The Volkschosschule Schoneberg.
After graduating he worked as a photographer at the "Gronica",
a Greek-German newspaper, where he focused on photographing music
events and celebrities. During that time, he also freelanced with
different companies.
Following that, and while armed with his creative nature, wild
imagination, his cameras and technical expertise, he set on a
globetrotting quest.
After extensive traveling, in 1996 he moved to New York where
he studied at The International Center of Photography and worked
in different Studios in New York City.
Today Anastasios lives and continues to work in New York City where,
following his creativity and artistic vision, he specializes in
photographing Still Life, Food and Interior design, as well as in
videography and 3-D and virtual tours.
