WHAT IT'S LIKE BEING ON THE SUBWAY

What the hell is going on? Why won't this person move? Why are people so obsessed with their phones? No wonder you missed your stop, you are not paying attention! Why is the subway so dirty? Do they ever really clean it? I am sure if I was traveling in London, it'd be much cleaner. No wonder we get stereotyped all the time. Why does this person keep staring at me? What game are you playing on your phone? Why is this person singing on the Subway and asking for donations? Does that happen on other Subways in other cities? I wonder... Can't they do something about all the homeless people sleeping on the subway? It's kind of disgusting if you think about it, I mean they are probably very dirty and are sleeping where you will be sitting... I always think about taking a shower when I come home from the subway because of all the germs from all the people. Why do only certain Subways have the announcer announce the next stop, or have the red digital board that shows you where you are? What do tourists think of the NYC subway? Are they really impressed or do they think it is so much better where we live. I wonder if they often get lost because of how complicated the Subway can be, especially with all the numbers and letters, uptown, downtown, I know I was very confused when I first started taking the Subway last year, so I can imagine how hard it could be for a foreigner. Why do they announce the stop when we have not arrived yet? It is kind of a fake out, you think you are ready to get off, when in fact, you are still traveling. I have to get off at the next stop and need to figure out how I am going to get around this person, Is it going to be on this side or the other side? I don't know! Damn! It is on the other side, excuse me!
