What do you get when you combine an ex-mobster who loves sports with a sports betting expert? A one two punch for a guaranteed home run. Peter Kazan made the acquaintance of Former high ranking Gambino crime associate John Alite six-months ago as he pitched his idea of creating a unique sports betting portal. John, who is an avid sports fanatic, saw the potential in this business and together co-founded www.alitesports.com

Peter was always a lover of sports since he was a kid. But after being around his brother-in-law and an uncle who were heavy gamblers it was only a matter of time that he would learn the ins and outs. He began betting sports at about fifteen years old by the time he was eighteen he was betting on sports every day specifically college football and NFL. Pete did most of his betting in underground sports betting circles, kind of the same circles John was around when he was on the "street". When they made betting legal via the internet and OTB, Pete thought that why not run it himself. Eventually, he reached out to John who he knew was an avid sports fan and connected with him on Johnalite.com and made the pitch. Peter realized the potential in having John Alite on the team since his reputation/celebrity would help market their services. Peter has been in the process of forming this business for over a year. He knew with John's knowledge and skill he would be able to bring a unique process and business into the main stream and be able to provide this service to the public. No single one person can do this alone; it would take a big team to accomplish. What they do is bring it all together and offer it to the public.

You don't run an underground sports book for years at the level John did and not know what you're doing. He has the knowledge the skill and the contacts to navigate this industry. John is the kind a guy that can get you information no one else can. Peter's role is to delegate the daily relationships between clients, the web developer, the legal d epartment, software monitor handicappers, freelancers and advertisers. He helps develop leads and source information. They all have our own expertise and connections within the industry (athletes, coaches etc. and we have personal relationships with a lot of people that are close to the sports). When they convene to bring all of their knowledge and information together they vote on the best most profitable games they are confident in. They also bet all the games they give to their clients.

There are many other betting sites out there and it is hard to choose who is best. Well Peter explained how they separate themselves from the competition;

"The benefit of using our site over one of our competitors (if you can call them that) is that besides having our own team handicappers and our own games that we're pushing we also buy the information of every major Competitor out there. This gives us and our clients' strategic advantages by allowing us to see what is trending with major gamblers and minimize the risky content they sell .Using our Extensive Contacts within the sports and gambling industry, we compile all of the most exclusive sports betting intelligence out there. Our process for every game we push is to see how the odds makers developed the lines for that game so that we can work out mathematically through our software and take into account the human variable. Lastly we review it with our handicappers and vote on the most educated bet we can provide to our clients. We try to take the guessing out of it and turn it into more of a science. We compile a list of games that were betting and giving the clients our same bets. Basically, you're paying a very affordable price and you're getting access to all of the information available that has been compiled from every possible source and then refined for accuracy, as well as our team of handicappers and our unique software. Our process is very advanced and we are the only ones out there with this specific process and software. The software is one of a kind and only one person on our team is capable of running it and it's constantly evolving and becoming more advanced. It is my professional opinion that some of the competing sites out there if you can call them that, are just guessing and they have limited knowledge of the mathematics and the human variable element that goes in to creating sports picks with accuracy. When our customer loses a bet we lose a bet. I feel that one of the most important things that separates us from the competition is a lot of the people on our team have personal relationships with pro & college athletes and team staff and even owners (our competition doesn't have that)."

The people on his team live for the love of sports betting and survived financially day and day out solely on this source, so you can imagine the dedication that derives from that. The core of the team is Peter, John Alite and Joshua Martinez they each have their own area of expertise yet share each other's knowledge as a team should. They have ten full-time Handicappers and about 27 in total who are free lancers that they work with regularly on a game by game basis. At this point they would like to begin opening offices in Vegas, New Jersey and Tennessee possibly even St. Louis. Their goal is constantly evolve Alite Sports and treat it as an investment firm in the near future. They are also an on-hands business where they welcome their clients to come and speak with them in person so they can develop a personal connection. The team hopes that clients would eventually invest with them where they take a small percentage of the wins, sort of like a broker. So far, their client base and web traffic has increased every day.

"Every single person that's involved with Alite Sports is passionate about what we're doing and we believe that we are a tool or an instrument of self-betterment. We want to give people the financial freedom to live life the way they want ....sports betting is just the medium."

"Currently, a large amount of our subscription profits go to financing the information that we get. With all the angles that we have to cover it's not cheap. The real profit is in the games that we push to our clients and always bet ourselves. The subscription sales just help finance the vast expenses that go into sourcing all this information. If you bet sports you're cheating yourself by not being a member of our site."
